The Opportunity

Our client is growing and with that, we are looking for a dedicated Team Leader to join our clients Mattress Department in Leeds.

As a Team Leader, you’ll play a vital role in coordinating daily operations across our clients mattress production lines. You'll ensure production goals are met; quality remains exceptional and our clients people are supported and motivated. This is a hands-on leadership role where your decisions and actions will have a direct impact on the team and output.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach and motivate a team of production operatives to hit daily targets
  • Maintain accurate production records and monitor performance via the PPMS (Production Performance Management System)
  • Manage stock levels and minimise downtime to maintain workflow
  • Work cross-functionally with departments to resolve production challenges
  • Ensure health & safety, housekeeping, and PPE standards are followed at all times
  • Conduct return-to-work interviews and manage attendance in collaboration with HR
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to increase efficiency and reduce waste
  • Analyse production, quality and waste data to produce regular reports for management
  • Promote a positive and proactive working culture based on our five core values
