Job summary

Sofina Foods Europe is seeking an experienced Team Leader to head a high-performing production team in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment. You will drive daily production plans, lead with a coaching approach, and uphold the highest standards of food safety and GMP while fostering a culture of safety and employee development.

Qualifications

• Two years' experience leading a team within food manufacturing.
• Leaving Certificate or equivalent; supervision/people management qualification advantageous.
• Strong leadership and coaching skills with the ability to motivate and develop others.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in fluent English.
• Strong organisational, planning and problem-solving abilities.
• Commitment to maintaining food safety, quality and health & safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead your shift by motivating your team and achieving daily production plans.
• Provide coaching and feedback to maximise performance and engagement.
• Maintain high food safety, quality, hygiene and GMP standards.
• Promote health and safety as a priority for everyone.
• Develop and support colleagues to maximise capability and engagement.
• Maintain housekeeping standards across the production area.
• Foster strong relationships with Quality, Technical, Engineering, Logistics and HR teams.
• Ensure equipment and work areas are maintained for safe, efficient production.
• Drive continuous improvement to boost productivity and quality.
