Job summary

Finsbury Food Group is seeking an Advanced Team Leader to supervise and support a production team in a fast-paced environment. You will lead by example, coach colleagues, and ensure new starters receive proper training while upholding Health & Safety and Food Safety standards.

You will collaborate with the MSL to manage labour and respond to changing production plans, keeping daily production on track and driving continuous improvement across the operation.

Qualifications

• Experience in fast-paced manufacturing/production environments.
• Experience supervising or leading a team is desirable.
• Willingness to achieve Level 2 Food Safety and IOSH Supervising Safely.
• Willingness to complete FDQ Level 2 Diploma for Team Leading.
• Strong problem-solving and root-cause analysis abilities.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and support your team to meet Safety, Quality, Cost, Delivery and People targets.
• Lead by example, coach and develop colleagues, and support new starter training.
• Work with MSL to manage labour and respond to production plans.
• Participate in Short Interval Control meetings and monitor performance.
• Maintain Health & Safety, Food Safety and Quality standards and procedures.
• Communicate clearly through huddles, briefs and shift handovers.
• Identify continuous improvement opportunities to enhance safety, quality and efficiency.
