Job summary

Sofina Foods is seeking a Line Leader to support the daily operation of the production line, develop team capability and ensure safety and quality targets are met. You will work with the Area Manager to drive performance and maintain high housekeeping standards.

In a fast-paced food manufacturing environment, you will coach staff, monitor throughput, complete paperwork accurately and promote continuous improvement across the site.

• Confident communicator who can engage and support others.

• Numerate and able to complete documentation accurately.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the daily running of the production line alongside the Area Manager.
• Support line performance to achieve production targets, run speeds and quality standards.
• Train and develop new starters and existing operatives to build a multi-skilled team.
• Monitor team performance and contribute to individual training plans.
• Identify production challenges and support corrective actions to minimise disruption.
• Promote adherence to health and safety, food safety and technical standards.
• Encourage quality-focused behaviours and ensure non-conforming products are identified.
• Maintain high housekeeping and hygiene standards through a clean-as-you-go approach.
• Complete production paperwork, checks and records accurately.
• Communicate effectively with colleagues and stakeholders across the business.
