Job summary

Yeo Valley Farms (Production) Ltd is seeking a Production Team Manager for our Newton Abbot site on Days shift. This fixed-term 6-month secondment will involve leading and developing a production team, ensuring high standards of safety, quality and efficiency while collaborating with other functions.

You will drive improvements, manage resources, and develop team members to achieve KPI targets and continuous improvement goals on a busy production line.

Qualifications

• Ability to influence people at all levels.
• Demonstrable problem solving and analytical skills.
• Proficiency in IT software such as Microsoft.
• Excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the team to ensure effective delivery of our products.
• Champion Health & Safety within the area of responsibility.
• Develop the team to meet KPIs: safety, quality, delivery, cost.
• Collaborate with other functions to plan and deliver work.
• Supervise handling of raw materials and dispatch of finished product.
• Utilise computers and software packages (Microsoft Office).
• Use handheld devices and relevant software systems.
• Drive continuous improvement in quality, efficiency and cost.
• Ensure compliance with quality standards and reporting.
• Promote asset care and quality assurance.
