Job summary

Gap Personnel Limited is recruiting for Food Production Operators – Nights to join the team at Yeo Valley in Newton Abbot. These temporary to permanent roles offer a nights-on, nights-off pattern and a pay rate of £14.65 per hour.

You will help run the production line, ensure products are made safely and on time, pack goods, keep the area clean, and communicate issues promptly. Full training will be provided with opportunities for development.

Food Production Operator - Nights

Site Location: Newton Abbot
Contract: Temporary to Permanent
Shift Pattern: 4 nights on, 4 nights off
Pay Rate: £14.65 per hour

Due to continued business growth, gap personnel are recruiting for Food Production Operators – Nights to join the team at Yeo Valley in Newton Abbot. These roles are available with immediate starts.

As a Food Production Operator - Nights, you will be helping with the running of the production line, making sure products are made safely, correctly, and on time.

Main duties and responsibilities:

• Working on the line and helping with food production
• Packing products correctly and safely
• Checking that everything is running as it should
• Keeping your area clean and organised
• Letting the team know if there are any issues

What we are looking for:

• Able to work well in a team
• Good communication skills
• Happy to do manual work
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Previous food production experience is helpful, but not essential
• Candidates must be flexible and able to accept shifts that are requested the day before

Full training will be provided by Yeo Valley, with opportunities for ongoing support and development.
