Job summary

Yeo Valley is seeking a Production Team Manager at our Newton Abbot site to lead a production operation on days shift for a fixed 6-month secondment. You will develop the team, ensure materials and finished products meet high standards, and work with other functions to improve quality, efficiency and cost.

You will drive safety, performance against KPIs and lead continuous improvement initiatives while modelling strong leadership and communication.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to influence people at all levels.
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
• Proficiency in IT software, especially Microsoft Office.
• Excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the Production Team to deliver on targets and KPIs.
• Champion Health & Safety within the area and promote a positive safety culture.
• Collaborate with other functions to plan and prioritise work.
• Oversee handling of raw materials and dispatch of finished products.
• Utilise computer systems and handheld devices for production tracking.
• Drive continuous improvement to improve quality, efficiency and cost.
