Job summary
Leonardo UK Ltd in Edinburgh is seeking Production Support Electronic Engineers at Engineer/Senior/Principal levels to join the Surveillance Radar engineering team. Roles are primarily site-based, with 4–5 days on the Edinburgh site to align with tasks, investigations, test campaigns and project needs.
You will support the production and sustainment of Osprey and Seaspray AESA radar products, working on complex hardware across multiple LRUs, performing fault investigations, upgrades, design
Qualifications
- Experience solving technical problems in a structured and evidence-based way.
- Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills.
- Ability to make sound engineering judgements in a timely manner.
- Understanding of complex hardware, production test, verification or sustainment.
- Good communication across engineering and non-engineering teams.
- Proactive, self-starting approach to drive issues to resolution.
Responsibilities
- Fault investigation and defect reduction across radar hardware.
- Product upgrades, design changes and test improvements.
- Qualification testing and obsolescence resolution.
- Work closely with Operations and cross-functional teams (Electronics, Mechanical, Systems, Software, Firmware, Test).
