Job summary

Leonardo Edinburgh is seeking a Project Engineering Lead to drive the development and delivery of next-generation AESA radar systems. You will lead a multi-disciplinary engineering team, work with the Project Engineering Manager and Chief Engineer, and ensure solutions meet technical, budgetary and safety standards.

The role requires a degree in Electrical & Electronic Engineering, broad RF and power systems experience, and strong leadership with excellent communication.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical & Electronic Engineering or related discipline.
• Experience designing, developing and testing electronic, RF and power systems.
• Knowledge of engineering lifecycle processes and business processes.
• Ability to produce clear engineering documentation with strong written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Produce effective plans to deliver solutions with stakeholders.
• Implement lifecycle management processes including design & gate reviews.
• Agree qualification & acceptance criteria with the System Design Authority.
• Meet targets for development of design maturity and reports for monthly reviews.
• Promote streamlined engineering lifecycle and modularity across solutions.
• Maintain communications across the Engineering IPT and senior management.
