Job summary

Leonardo is seeking Production Support Electronic Engineers for its Edinburgh site to work across Osprey and Seaspray AESA radar hardware. You will handle fault investigations, product upgrades, and design changes while coordinating with cross-functional teams in Operations, Electronics, Mechanical, Systems, Software and Quality.

Roles range from Engineer to Principal Engineer, with most work expected on-site at Edinburgh.

Qualifications

• A degree, HND/HNC or equivalent in Electronics, Hardware, RF, Systems, Test Engineering or related discipline.
• Experience solving technical problems in a structured, evidence-based way.
• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills.
• Ability to make sound engineering judgments in a timely manner.
• Practical understanding of complex hardware products, production test, design verification or product sustainment.
• Good communication skills and ability to work across engineering and non-engineering teams.
• Proactive, self-starting approach to drive problems to resolution.

Responsibilities

• Fault investigation, product upgrades, design changes and test improvement.
• Qualification testing, obsolescence resolution and defect reduction.
• Collaborate with Operations, Electronics, Mechanical, Systems, Software, Firmware and Test Engineering, plus Supply Chain and Quality.
