Job summary

Search Consultancy LTD in Penicuik, Scotland is seeking a Production Services Operative to support a regulated manufacturing team. You will help ensure equipment is cleaned, prepared and available for reuse, and that materials are supplied to production when required.

You will join a role with a rotating shift pattern, ongoing training, and clear progression from entry level up to Level 3, with opportunities to develop skills in a compliant environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in regulated environments such as FMCG or manufacturing.
• Capable of completing paperwork and keeping accurate records.
• Attention to detail and adherence to procedures.
• Comfort in cleanroom or semi-confined settings.
• Positive attitude to learning and progression.

Responsibilities

• Support the production team with day-to-day requirements.
• Collect waste and equipment to be cleaned for reuse.
• Clean equipment and supply it back to the production team.
• Wrap equipment ready for use.
• Work from allocations to ensure tasks are completed as required.
• Gather materials from stores and deliver them to the manufacturing team.

What You’ll Be Doing

You’ll play an important role in supporting the production team by ensuring equipment is cleaned, prepared and available for reuse, and that materials are supplied to manufacturing when required.

Key responsibilities include:

• Supporting the production team with day-to-day requirements
• Collecting waste and equipment to be cleaned for reuse
• Cleaning equipment and supplying it back to the production team
• Wrapping equipment ready for use
• Working from allocations to ensure tasks are completed as required
• Gathering materials from stores and delivering them to the manufacturing team

What We’re Looking For

• Previous experience working in a regulated environment, such as FMCG, manufacturing or a similar industry
• Comfortable completing paperwork and maintaining accurate documentation

• Comfortable working in a cleanroom or semi-confined environment
• A positive attitude towards learning, training and developing new skills
• Reliable, motivated and keen to progress within the role
