Job summary

Talentmark are recruiting for a Production Support Operator at their Standish site on a permanent basis. The role involves supporting the safe and efficient operation of the Production Department, production planning, material handling, and adherence to Safety, Quality and Compliance regulations.

The position runs 12-hour day shifts from 6am to 6pm Monday to Thursday, with a focus on forklift operation, stock checks, and maintaining high housekeeping across production areas.

Qualifications

• Forklift licence is required.
• Ability to follow manufacturing protocols.
• Good understanding of sampling and product testing.
• Willingness to comply with safety and quality regulations, including PPE.
• Experience in manufacturing/production, preferably in the chemical industry.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor the filtration press, completing accurate records and maintaining production schedules in a timely manner.
• Safely operate a Counterbalance Forklift Truck to transport raw materials, intermediates and finished goods.
• Assist with stock checks and inventory accuracy, to ensure consistent levels of stock ahead of manufacturing.
• Maintain high housekeeping standards across production, including keeping production areas tidy and supporting with waste segregation.
• Work in accordance with COMAH requirements and comply with all Quality, Environmental and Health & Safety procedures.

This role will be based at their site in Standish, working 12-hour day shifts, from 6am to 6pm Monday to Thursday on a permanent basis.

The Role
