Job summary

Marqeta Inc is seeking a Production Support Engineer II to be the first line of contact for customers, resolving complex technical issues and translating jargon into clear guidance.

You will collaborate with Engineering on updates, escalate where needed, and monitor production systems while supporting the UK-based remote and London-office operations. This role emphasizes customer advocacy and continuous product feedback.

Qualifications

• 2-3+ years of experience in Technical Support, Production Support, or IT Support for B2B customers, preferably experience in the card payments industry.
• Ability to work in a customer-facing role, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Committed, flexible through on-call rotations, and able to maintain productivity with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Serve as first line of contact for customers and resolve complex technical issues.
• Collaborate with Engineering to manage software updates and bug fixes.
• Monitor production systems and provide on-call coverage for rotations and escalations.
• Document learnings and provide feedback to product and operations teams.
