Job summary

TN Talent Recruitment Ltd is partnering with an established engineering and manufacturing business in Nottinghamshire to recruit a Production Supervisor with a strong background in precision engineering or CNC manufacturing. You will lead rotating AM/PM shifts, oversee daily production, health and safety, quality and delivery targets, and drive improvements on the shop floor.

Qualifications

• Experience as Production Supervisor or similar role (Supervisor/Team Leader).
• Strong background in precision engineering or CNC manufacturing.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and manufacturing specifications.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement techniques.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and support production teams across rotating AM and PM shifts.
• Oversee daily manufacturing operations to achieve production, quality, and delivery targets.
• Plan and allocate workloads to maintain production schedules.
• Provide hands-on leadership, guidance and support to shop floor employees.

Salary: £40,000 – £50,000 per annum

TN Talent Recruitment are working with an established and successful engineering and manufacturing business who are looking to recruit experienced Production Supervisors to join their growing team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a strong background in precision engineering or CNC manufacturing who enjoys leading teams, being hands‑on within production and driving improvements across the shop floor.

Reporting directly to the Production Manager, you'll play an important role in ensuring day‑to‑day manufacturing operations run smoothly, production targets are achieved and the team is supported to deliver the highest standards of quality and efficiency.

As Production Supervisor, your responsibilities will include:

• Supervising and supporting production teams across rotating AM and PM shifts.
• Overseeing daily manufacturing operations, ensuring production, quality and delivery targets are achieved.

• Providing hands‑on leadership, guidance and support to shop floor employees.

What We're Looking For

• Previous experience as a Production Supervisor, Manufacturing Supervisor, Workshop Supervisor or Engineering Team Leader.
• A strong background in precision engineering, CNC machining or a similar technical manufacturing environment.
• A good understanding of CNC milling, turning and general machining processes.
• Experience leading, motivating and developing production teams.
• The ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and manufacturing specifications.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement techniques.
• Strong organisational, communication and problem‑solving skills.
• A practical, hands‑on approach to leadership.
• Flexibility to work rotating AM and PM shifts.
