Job summary

Interaction Recruitment is seeking a Production Supervisor in Enstone, Chipping Norton. This permanent role involves overseeing a manufacturing department, ensuring quality, safety, and productivity are met. The ideal candidate will lead production teams, monitor performance, and drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Previous supervisory experience within a manufacturing or production environment.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Experience monitoring production KPIs and driving continuous improvement.
• Knowledge of quality standards, audits, and health & safety.
• Injection or compression moulding experience (desired but not essential).
• Tool changing and machine setting experience (desired but not essential).
• Forklift licence (desired but not essential).

Responsibilities

• Lead and support production teams to achieve quality, delivery, and performance targets.
• Ensure compliance with health & safety, quality, and operational procedures.
• Coordinate production schedules and communicate priorities across shifts.
• Monitor production performance, waste, scrap, and consumable costs.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and process optimisation.
• Manage stock levels and production reporting.
• Coordinate maintenance activities and minimise machine downtime.
• Develop team skills through training, coaching, and cross-functional development.
• Monitor attendance, team performance, and employee engagement.

£16.50 - £17.00 per hour, DOE

Day shifts, Monday - Thursday

This is a permanent role.

We are recruiting for an experienced Production Supervisor to oversee the safe, efficient, and productive operation of a manufacturing department. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on leader who can motivate teams, drive performance, and maintain high standards of quality, safety, and productivity.

Working Hours

• Monday - Thursday
• 3 weeks on 06:00 - 18:00 and 1 week on 18:00 - 06:00
• 20% uplift for night shifts

Key Responsibilities
