Travail Employment Group is seeking a Production Supervisor - Composite Trimming in Brackley. This permanent role oversees the trimming department, ensuring safe and on-time production to high quality standards.

Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will lead a skilled team, drive continuous improvement and maintain strong production records in a fast-paced environment. 40 hours per week with a supportive management structure.

Qualifications

• Previous experience supervising or leading a team within manufacturing.
• Knowledge and hands on experience of carbon composite trimming methods.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality standards.
• Strong communication skills with ability to give clear guidance.
• Ability to organise workloads and prioritise effectively.
• Experience working to production schedules and deadlines.

Responsabilités

• Oversee day-to-day supervision of the trimming department to meet schedules.
• Guide and support the trimming team to achieve departmental targets.
• Ensure operators have tools, materials and information needed.
• Monitor workflow and address production delays promptly.
• Collaborate with Inspection and Production teams for smooth flow.
• Maintain accurate job sheets and production records.
• Ensure equipment is checked, maintained and serviced.
• Promote housekeeping, health and safety standards.
• Escalate issues to Operations Manager and assist corrective actions.

Production Supervisor - Composite Trimming

The Role

As the Production Supervisor, you will be responsible for the day-to-day supervision of the trimming department, ensuring production schedules are achieved safely, efficiently and to the required quality standards.

Reporting directly to the Operations Manager, you will provide guidance, support and leadership to the trimming team while maintaining a strong focus on productivity, quality and customer satisfaction.

A typical day will include:

• Coordinating daily workloads and ensuring production schedules are completed on time.
• Supporting and supervising the trimming team to achieve departmental targets.
• Ensuring operatives have the tools, materials and information required to complete work efficiently.
• Monitoring workflow and quickly identifying and resolving production delays.
• Working closely with Inspection and Production teams to ensure smooth movement of work through the business.
• Maintaining accurate job sheet completion and production records.
• Ensuring equipment is checked, maintained and serviced in line with company procedures.
• Promoting high standards of housekeeping, health and safety and workplace organisation.
• Escalating production, resource or quality issues to the Operations Manager and supporting corrective actions.
• Encouraging a positive team culture and ensuring employees understand daily objectives and expectations.
