Salary: GBP16.5 - GBP16.5 per hour

HRGO are recruiting a Production Supervisor for our client in Birkenhead. You will be responsible for overseeing the manufacturing process and ensuring efficient production processes. You will lead a team of production workers, monitor production schedules, and maintain a safe working environment. Your role will involve coordinating with other departments to meet production goals, implementing quality control measures, and optimising production processes.

Hours: Monday-Friday 8am-5pm

Contract Type: Temp to perm

Pay: £16.50 per hour, paid weekly

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate production activities to meet production targets and quality standards
• Work in production together as a team with the operatives
• Train, mentor, and motivate production team members to achieve optimal performance
• Work closely with the H&S team to ensure production is undertaken in a safe environment
• Collaborate with other departments such as quality control, maintenance, and logistics to streamline production processes
• Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure compliance with company policies and regulations
• Identify areas for improvement and implement initiatives to enhance productivity and efficiency

Requirements

• Previous experience in a supervisory position is essential
