Hours: 4 on 4 off shift pattern, including both days and nights, starting at 06:00 to 18:00 and 18:00 to 06:00
Salary: Between £40,000.00 to £49,000.00 per year

Are you a Production Shift Manager or Team Manager within a manufacturing or production environment, looking for a new opportunity in an FMCG role? Our Tuscany Bakery is currently seeking an Area Lead to join their team.

• Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, and Continuous Improvement (CI) initiatives
• Monitoring equipment and ensuring compliance, with quick resolution of issues
• Understanding of site-level planning activities
• Experience coaching and developing teams to achieve KPIs and targets, fostering future leaders

We are a sixth-generation family business, supplying over 18,000 retail customers from 11 bakeries and 16 depots, producing over 70 products, including gluten and wheat-free options. As an Area Lead at Warburtons, you will drive excellence, innovation, and efficiency within our manufacturing operations. You’ll lead a dedicated team, oversee daily production, and uphold our standards of quality and safety.

Our Tuscany Park bakery and distribution depot opened in 2005 near Normanton at Wakefield Europort. We operate three high-speed, automated manufacturing lines producing products like Toastie, Farmhouse, Danish, Wholemeal, and sliced bread rolls.

With around 500 colleagues at Tuscany Park and 70 in our Howden depot, we deliver freshly baked products across the UK daily. We’re committed to growth through innovation and investment.
