Job summary

The Sterling Choice is seeking a Production Shift Manager in Welwyn to lead daily production, coach leaders and drive improvements across efficiency and quality on a 4 on 4 off days schedule. You will shape performance and embed robust ways of working on the factory floor.

You will partner with engineering and planning to identify opportunities, develop frontline leaders and deliver sustainable gains for a growing operation.

Qualifications

• Experience leading production teams within food manufacturing or FMCG.
• Enjoy developing people and improving an operation.
• Visible on the factory floor, able to challenge existing ways of working and drive change.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day performance of the production shift.
• Coach and develop the shift leadership team.
• Drive improvements across efficiency, waste, labour and output.
• Build stronger standards, structure and accountability.
• Ensure safety, quality and customer requirements are met.
• Use performance data to identify issues and implement lasting improvements.
• Support development of a growing operation.
• Create an engaged, capable and high-performing team.
