Job summary

Canon EMEA in London hires a Field Service Engineer to maintain, repair, and service Canon Production equipment at customer sites. You will diagnose faults, install equipment both on-site and remotely, and ensure minimal production disruption.

The role requires strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting, IT networking knowledge, and a valid driver's license. Hybrid working is available with 3 days in office and 2 from home.

Qualifications

• Experience as a field service engineer or in a similar role.
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Good understanding of IT/networking for device connectivity.
• NVQ or equivalent in electrical/mechanical discipline is highly advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose technical faults and provide solutions on-site, minimising downtime.
• Install and configure devices at customer premises and provide training.
• Maintain communication across teams and ensure timely completion of calls.
• Carry out stock checks and return obsolete parts as required.
