Job summary

Sofina Foods in Livingston, United Kingdom, is seeking a Site Planner to join our Supply Chain team. You will turn forecasts into achievable plans, balancing customer demand, factory capacity and stock levels to keep operations running smoothly.

You will work closely with Production, Operations and Purchasing to develop daily, weekly and medium‑term schedules, manage inventory to minimise waste, and drive continuous improvement across the site.

Qualifications

• Experience in Planning, Supply Chain, Logistics or Manufacturing.
• Strong analytical skills with data-driven decision making.
• Excellent Excel and systems capability.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder influencing.
• Willingness to adopt a continuous improvement mindset.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain accurate production, demand and materials plans.
• Create and communicate daily, weekly and medium-term production schedules.
• Monitor forecast accuracy and service levels; identify risks and opportunities.
• Coordinate material requirements with Purchasing and operations.
• Lead inputs for S&OP, promotions and seasonal peaks.
• Manage inventory to minimise waste and supply risk.
• Build relationships across Operations, Supply Chain, Commercial and Customer teams.
• Analyse performance data and drive improvements.
