Production Planner up to 40k

Winsford

Working for a close knit team located within the Winsford area, the role of Production Planner is responsible for planning, scheduling, and coordinating production activities to ensure that manufacturing processes run smoothly, efficiently, and meet customer demands. The role involves balancing supply and demand, optimizing resource utilization, and minimizing production delays or interruptions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain production schedules to meet customer orders, inventory targets, and production capacity.
  • Coordinate with purchasing, inventory, and production teams to ensure material availability.
  • Analyse sales forecasts, customer orders, and historical data to anticipate production needs.
  • Transport planning, ensuring that delivery schedules are met in lock step with the production schedule.
  • Monitor work-in-progress and adjust schedules as needed to accommodate changes in demand or resource availability.
  • Communicate production plans and updates to cross-functional teams including procurement, logistics, and quality.
  • Prepare reports on production status, performance, and issues for management.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.

Required Skills:
