Job description

Games Workshop has an exciting opportunity to join our Planning Team as a Production Planner. If you’re someone who is ready to contribute to a culture of trust, honesty and accountability we invite you to read on.

Our manufacturing team priorities are to make the right products in the right volumes at the right time, with an obsession over quality and always driving efficiency. This is delivered through high performing teams using integrated systems with clear, timely information and metrics to provide clarity on performance.

Your key responsibilities will be to ensure that all forecasts, orders and shipments are processed accurately and on time to meet agreed customer schedules. Being comfortable communicating effectively with colleagues and customers at all levels, you’ll work closely with each to ensure all timescales and needs are met whilst using a methodical approach to processing all forecasts across multiple countries.

Using your effective organisational skills you’ll schedule all production on time, consistently checking daily progress as well as ensuring that all key schedules are updated. Booking transport on time and ensuring that all relevant invoices and packing lists are sent to customers will ensure you utilise your skills in time management.

With attention to accuracy and a keen eye for detail you’ll request quotes and place purchase orders from suppliers and track deliveries ensuring all orders and shipments are credit approved as well as issuing pick lists. You’ll have a focussed approach whilst being able to work on numerous tasks at once.

You’ll be an excellent problem solver with a can-do attitude, being keen to research and recommend solutions, and having both the ability to work independently and as part of a team. You’ll demonstrate a strong commitment to consistency working with teams, ensuring that all tasks are completed with the highest level of accuracy while remaining inquisitive to support the optimisation of planning processes.

Having a previous background of commercial planning within a manufacturing environment combined with strong Excel will make you a strong candidate for the role!
