Games Workshop Group PLC in Nottingham hosts a senior marketing operations leader based at our Lenton head office, with some international travel. You will translate strategy into clear plans, run campaigns and measure impact within the Customer Engagement team.
You will partner across sales, finance and product, manage agencies, ensure timely delivery and remove operational friction to enable great creative work.
Are you an accomplished senior marketing operations professional who knows how to turn an ambitious strategy into clear plans, well-run campaigns and measurable results? Based at our head office in Lenton, with some international travel, this is a highly influential role at the heart of our Customer Engagement team. You will ensure our marketing activity reaches all our customers effectively across email, social media, targeted campaigns and our own platforms, while creating the processes, systems and cross-business support needed for everything to land successfully.
You will be responsible for the operational delivery part of the Customer Engagement plan from beginning to end, ensuring every initiative has clear accountability, timescales, decision-making arrangements and measures of success. Acting as a trusted representative of the Customer & Media Director, you will handle competing requests, make sound decisions within agreed authority and bring forward practical recommendations when senior input is needed. You will build strong relationships across sales, finance, product and other areas of the business, gaining support early and helping important decisions to be made smoothly.
This role requires extensive experience in senior marketing operations, together with strong commercial judgement and the credibility to operate confidently with Directors and all staff. You will know how to maintain reliable data and turn it into useful insights and provide a clear view of how Customer Engagement contributes to our revenue, identifying risks and opportunities through meaningful reporting, while also managing agency, supplier and partner relationships to ensure work is delivered to the required quality and timescale. This is an enabling rather than creative role: your focus will be on removing operational friction and creating the conditions in which excellent creative work can succeed.
At Games Workshop, how you behave matters just as much as the experience and expertise you bring. You will strive to understand what the business genuinely needs, look continuously for ways to improve and be willing to make clear decisions in a complex environment. You will have the honesty to recognise when something has fallen short, the humility to learn from it and the courage to take action. Above all, you will share our long‑term commitment to making the Warhammer hobby and our business even better, helping more customers discover what makes it special and remain excited and engaged.
At Games Workshop we are looking for people who will do their best to understand the needs of the company and to put those needs first when they are at work. Because of this we believe that what you are like, hence the attitude you show to work and the way you choose to behave is even more important than your skills and experience.
The Warhammer World site is based just outside of Nottingham city centre and benefits from a nearby tram stop and free onsite car parking.
Closing date: The closing date for applications is midnight, UK time, Sunday 27th September 2026.
