Job summary

SC Johnson Professional in Denby is seeking a Production Operator to run and support injection moulding, mixing or filling and packaging equipment to meet the production plan while upholding safety and quality standards.

The role requires set up, changeover, washout and asset care within a 38.5-hour week on a rotating schedule from 06:00 to 22:00 and 06:00 to 18:10 on a Friday, with front and back shift patterns described in the job posting.

Qualifications

• Experience operating manufacturing equipment in line with quality standards and standard operating procedures.
• Experience working safely and complying with health and safety requirements in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience working in a fast-paced manufacturing or production environment, with a focus on quality and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Work safely at all times, ensuring all manufacturing activities meet quality, safety and GMP standards.
• Set up, operate, change over and monitor production equipment in line with operating procedures.
• Perform quality checks and follow standard operating procedures to ensure products meet specification.
• Identify, escalate and help resolve safety, quality or operational issues to support continuous production.
• Maintain production equipment and work areas in line with asset care and housekeeping standards.
• Support and coach colleagues and agency workers to follow safe working practices and procedures.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that enhance efficiency, quality and reliability.
• Participate actively in shift handovers, team meetings, training activities and other day-to-day operational communications.
