Job summary

SC Johnson Professional is seeking a Production Operator to join the Denby site in the UK. You will set up, change over, washout and operate injection moulding, mixing or filling equipment to meet the production plan while upholding safety and quality standards.

The role requires working 38.5 hours per week on rotating shifts between 06:00 and 22:00, with front and back shift patterns described in the posting. You will contribute to continuous improvement and support team handovers and training.

Qualifications

• Experience operating manufacturing equipment in line with SOPs.
• Experience working safely and complying with health and safety requirements.
• Experience in fast-paced production with a focus on quality & continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Work safely at all times, ensuring all manufacturing activities meet quality, safety and GMP standards.
• Set up, operate, change over and monitor production equipment in line with operating procedures.
• Perform quality checks and follow standard operating procedures to ensure products meet specification.
• Identify, escalate and help resolve safety, quality or operational issues to support continuous production.
• Maintain production equipment and work areas in line with asset care and housekeeping standards.
• Support and coach colleagues and agency workers to follow safe working practices and procedures.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that enhance efficiency, quality and reliability.
• Participate actively in shift handovers, team meetings, training activities and other day-to-day operational communications.
