Job summary

Ges Ltd is seeking a reliable worker for material handling and offloading of sheet metal, including loading onto plant equipment and preparing parts for welding/painting. You will operate a plasma cutting table, radial arm drill, brake press and other machinery while maintaining quality and safety standards.

The role involves packing, palletising, and assisting with dispatch, with day or night shifts available and full PPE provided.

Qualifications

• Experience in operating heavy machinery in a manufacturing setting.
• Ability to prepare and finish parts for welding/painting and packaging.

Responsibilities

• Operate plasma cutting table and VMC; load and unload parts.
• Move goods around the factory and assist with kitting.
• Conduct quality checks and maintain documentation and timesheets.
• Assist with production targets and minimize wastage.
• Perform daily housekeeping and machinery maintenance checks.
