Job summary

Accept Recruitment is helping a Coventry-based sheet metal fabrication firm recruit a Fabricator / Machine Operator for a permanent, full-time position in Aldermans Green. The role offers Monday to Friday days and on-site work.

You will operate folding machines and related workshop equipment, folding and preparing components in mild steel, stainless steel and aluminium, and support the welding/fabrication team by handling materials. Training is provided.

Qualifications

• Experience in a fabrication, sheet metal or manufacturing environment.
• Press brake or folding experience is an advantage, but training is provided.
• Good attention to detail and a careful, consistent approach.
• Reliable, punctual and willing to learn.
• Happy working as part of a small team.
• Own transport is preferred, due to the location.

Responsibilities

• Operating folding machines and other workshop machinery.
• Folding and preparing sheet metal components in mild steel, stainless steel and aluminium.
• Handling and preparing material for the welding and fabrication team.
• Working from drawings and instructions to produce accurate parts.
• Keeping the work area safe, clean and organised.
