Job summary

Extension Recruitment is seeking a Production Operator for a busy food packaging site in Tanfield, County Durham. This temporary-to-permanent role involves monitoring production, ensuring quality, completing paperwork, and working to health and safety standards.

The Role

As an Operator, you will play a key role in ensuring products are manufactured, inspected, packed, and labelled to the required quality standards. You will monitor production, complete relevant documentation, maintain traceability records, and work closely with the wider team to ensure efficient day-to-day operations.

What We're Looking For

• Previous experience as a Production Operator or Thermoformer Operator
• Previous manufacturing or plastics industry experience is advantageous but not essential.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
