Job summary

Travail Employment Group is recruiting a Production Operator in Corby (NN17) offering an immediate start and a temporary role with the potential to become permanent. The role covers operating blending and production machinery, manual handling of materials, and palletising for dispatch within a friendly team.

You will gain full training and ongoing support, with opportunities for career development in a growing manufacturing business. On-site parking and PPE are provided as part of the role.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in manufacturing or production.
• Experience in food production or machine operation preferred.
• Counterbalance Forklift Licence preferred.
• Able to perform manual handling.
• Ability to meet production targets and follow instructions.

Responsibilities

• Operating blending, mixing and other production machinery.
• Picking and preparing raw materials from production instructions.
• Manually loading raw material bags (up to 20kg) into machinery.
• Palletising finished products and wrapping pallets ready for dispatch.
• Using a Counterbalance FLT to move completed pallets into warehouse locations.
• Completing production documentation and traceability records accurately.
• Always following food manufacturing and health & safety procedures.

Monday to Thursday: 10:00am - 6:00pm | Friday: 7:00am - 3:00pm

Key Responsibilities

• Operating blending, mixing and other production machinery
• Picking and preparing raw materials from production instructions

What We're Looking For

• Have previous experience within a manufacturing or production environment
• Ideally have experience in food production, machine operation, mixing, or processing roles
• Hold a valid Counterbalance Forklift Truck licence (preferred)
• Are comfortable with manual handling duties
• Can work to production targets and follow detailed instructions
• Enjoy working as part of a small, supportive team
