Job Description Summary

You will work as part of the manufacturing team to ensure the assembly of products meets daily targets while maintaining the required quality standards. This includes carrying out assembly and inspection using the correct tools, current build, and process documentation.

Job Description

Responsibilities:

• Achieve production targets, which may require shift work.
• Ensure build quality of products in accordance with standard operating instructions.
• Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of workstations.
• Verify equipment compliance, including BV inspections, calibration, and PAT.
• Support other duties as required to assist the manufacturing facility.
• Carry out 5S inspections.
• Adhere to EHS best practices and align with GE EHS standards.

The Person

• Good general education.
• Experience in light mechanical assembly or similar environment.

Skills and Experience:

• Ability to work and communicate effectively within a team.
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing techniques is advantageous.
• Understanding of Kanban, flow, and pull techniques is advantageous.
• Mechanical and electrical aptitude is advantageous.
• Manual handling and ergonomics knowledge.
• Ability to work independently following standard procedures.
• Knowledge of VAV and LOTO procedures.

Specific Abilities:

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Self-motivated, proactive, and results-driven.
• Ability to meet deadlines while maintaining quality.
• Proficiency in English, both written and verbal. Additional languages are a plus.
