Job summary

A manufacturing company in the North East of England is seeking Production Operators for a permanent position with long-term prospects. The role involves maintaining high operational performance and quality standards while ensuring compliance with health and safety. Candidates must have at least three years' experience in a manufacturing environment and GCSE qualifications. This position operates on a full-time basis across 2 or 3 shifts, Monday to Friday.

Production Operators Washington - 2/3 shifts Mon- Fri - Permanent with long term prospects

Responsibilities

• Maintains and continuously improves upon operational performance, standards of quality, housekeeping and health and safety.
• Understands and follows the production schedule to ensure jobs are produced in the required sequence.
• Ensure the quality of all work produced being sent to either the next process or the final customer.
• Participates in training to maintain and improve the range of skills and knowledge required to meet the ongoing needs of the business.
• Ensures the health and safety of people within the area covered by the job holder by ensuring that safe and healthy practices are followed and that all aspects of company, site and legal occupational health and safety requirements are met.
