You will operate and monitor machinery, feed materials, perform quality checks and assist with basic adjustments while adhering to health and safety standards.

Full training will be provided, and the role offers a stable position within an established operation. This site runs days and nights as part of the continental shift schedule.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in manufacturing, print, packaging or machine operation is advantageous but training can be provided.
• Reliable and punctual, safety conscious and able to follow instructions.
• Quality focused with good attention to detail and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Team player with a hands-on approach and willingness to work continental shifts.
• Physically comfortable with a production role.

Machine Operative - Continental Shifts

We are looking for reliable and motivated Machine Operatives to join a production team working a continental shift pattern.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a busy, modern manufacturing environment within a well-established print and packaging business.

The Role

As a Machine Operative, you will be responsible for operating and monitoring production machinery to ensure products are manufactured safely, efficiently and to the required quality standards.

Your duties will include:

• Setting up, operating and monitoring production machinery
• Feeding materials into machines and removing finished products
• Carrying out quality checks throughout the production process
• Identifying and reporting machine faults or production issues
• Completing production paperwork accurately
• Maintaining a clean, safe and organised working area
• Working to production targets and deadlines
• Following all health, safety and company procedures
• Supporting machine changeovers and basic adjustments where required
• Working closely with other members of the production team to minimise downtime and maintain output

About You

Previous experience within manufacturing, print, packaging, corrugated, converting or machine operation would be an advantage, although training can be provided for candidates with the right attitude.
