Job description

Salary: Competitive with pay progression scheme
Location: Andover

Do you like to build, make, fix and craft? Perhaps you crochet or needlepoint? You might be a member of Brickish or AFOL, or perhaps you just help your kids build their latest kits. Maybe your proudest moment was when your child won the year 3 prize for the best world book day costume (that you painstakingly created), or are you painting D&D models, airfix kits or tinkering with cars at the weekend? Maybe you’re the one everyone asks to build their IKEA furniture. If you have a keen interest in making, fixing, building or crafting this could be the role for you.

We’re growing and are looking for additional Production Operatives at our Andover factory.

If you joined us, you’d be building best in class cable systems for platforms across marine, aerospace and renewables technologies. The work we do contributes to critical UK infrastructure and gives us all an enormous sense of pride. You could also learn fantastic new skills and perhaps start a whole new skilled career.

About You

We don’t mind if you haven’t done this sort of work before, we can train the technical skills we need. What we’re looking for are people who like to work with their hands, enjoy an attention to detail and take pride in high quality practical work. You’ll probably be someone who likes solving problems and you’ll need to be a good communicator.

We’re committed to diversity in our team and are keen to encourage all applicants. We’re supportive of flexible working and because of the policies we’ve introduced are this year’s winner of the Women in Defence Most Improved Charter Signatory award. We are also signatories to the Armed Forces Covenant and Bronze award holders for the Defence Employers Recognition Scheme. We are a passionate, energetic and supportive team and would love to hear from you if you think you have the personal attributes to join us.

You’ll need to demonstrate a positive attitude, be keen to learn and work as a team. If that sounds like you please send us your CV

Responsibilities
