Our client, a large Aerospace and Defence supplier, is looking for Manufacturing Operatives to join them on a contract basis at their site in Southampton.

• Due to the nature of the role, applicants must be willing to undergo basic security checks.
• The role is fully onsite due to operational requirements.
• Initial contract duration is 12 months.

You will be required to carry out a range of manufacturing tasks using the site Process Work Instructions.

The role includes being able to:

• Work in line with business processes and procedures, SAP, and local Inspection Standard Operating Procedures.
• Accurately perform the required manufacturing processes in accordance with site quality procedures.
• Control and process all relevant manufacturing and quality documentation.
• Complete all product types through the required processes.
• Maintain inventory accuracy and batch traceability.
• Training for all roles will be provided.

What we are looking for:

• You must be computer literate and able to complete tasks accurately and precisely.
• Neat and tidy work ethic aligned with 5S principles.
• Manually dexterous.
• Prepared to work as part of a small, closely-knit team capable of working unsupervised to complete set tasks.
• Able to review, follow, and carry out quality instructions.
• Liaise with support functions to ensure customer deliveries are maintained at all times.
• Flexible and able to support various process operations, including cleanrooms (Class 6 standard) and controlled working environments.
