Job summary

Pertemps Bond in Ledbury is seeking a Production Operative to join a busy chilled food manufacturing team on a temporary ongoing basis. You will work full-time hours with weekly rotating morning and afternoon shifts, in a controlled environment at 1–3°C, with duties on the production line and QC checks.

The role involves picking, replenishing, packing, weights checks, labeling, and maintaining safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Previous production, manufacturing or warehouse experience is beneficial but not essential.
• Good attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Comfortable working in chilled conditions (0°C to 4°C).
• Reliable, punctual and able to work as part of a team.
• Flexible to work the weekly rotating shift pattern.

Responsibilities

• Picking stock from designated locations and supplying production areas.
• Replenishing stock to ensure continuous production.
• Packing products efficiently and accurately on the production line.
• Checking product weights meet required specifications.
• Carrying out quality control checks to company standards.

Production Operative required in Ledbury, paying £13.00 per hour, Temporary Ongoing, Weekly Rotating morning and afternoon shifts (Monday to Friday)

Pertemps are currently recruiting for Production Operatives on behalf of a well established and manufacturer of frozen products based in Ledbury.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a busy production team on a temporary ongoing basis, with full-time hours and weekly rotating shifts. Due to the nature of the products, you will be working in a chilled environment with temperatures typically between 1°C and 3°C.

The Role:

• Picking stock from designated locations and supplying production areas.
• Replenishing stock to ensure continuous production.
• Packing products efficiently and accurately on the production line.
• Checking product weights meet required specifications.
• Carrying out quality control checks to company standards.
• Labelling products with the correct batch codes and information.
• Maintaining a clean, safe and organised working environment.

Hours of Work:

• Weekly Rotating Monday to Friday Shifts:
• Week 1: 06:00 - 14:00 (37.5 hours)
• Week 2: 14:00 - 22:30 (40 hours)

Pay Rate:

• £13.00 per hour
