Job summary

Pertemps Bond is recruiting a Production Operative for a leading frozen foods manufacturer based in Ledbury. The role involves working in a chilled environment and supporting production on weekly rotating morning and afternoon shifts.

Temporary ongoing, full-time hours with weekly pay. £13.00 per hour. Shifts run 06:00–14:00 and 14:00–22:30, offering a busy, team-focused environment and opportunities to progress.

Qualifications

• Experience in production/manufacturing is beneficial but not required.
• Strong attention to detail and quality.
• Able to work quickly in a fast-paced environment.
• Comfortable working in chilled conditions (0°C to 4°C).
• Reliable, punctual and a team player.
• Willing to rotate weekly shifts.

Responsibilities

• Pick stock from designated locations and supply production areas.
• Replenish stock to ensure continuous production.
• Pack products on the production line efficiently and accurately.
• Check weights meet specifications.
• Carry out quality control to company standards.
• Label products with batch codes and information.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
• Follow food safety and health & safety procedures.
