Job Description

Berry Recruitment is seeking a General Operative with a Forklift License to support a Manufacturing and Production business located between Downham Market and Thetford.

The role involves assisting the production team with various duties including line work, picking and packing, labelling, and manual handling tasks.

Forklift responsibilities include operating a forklift, loading/unloading materials, organizing inventory, inspecting equipment, maintaining safety standards, managing documentation, handling hazardous materials (if applicable), organizing the warehouse, collaborating with team members, and performing general maintenance.

The role requires manual handling in a busy environment, so adherence to health and safety procedures is essential.

The starting pay rate is £14.46 per hour.

Working hours are day shifts, Monday to Friday, 8 hours per day.

Applicants must have their own transport as the location is outside King's Lynn/Downham Market and not accessible by public transport.

This position is available immediately and may be ongoing for the right candidate.

Applicants must hold a valid external counterbalance forklift license.
