Job summary

BWC Profiles LTD is seeking a Production Operative to join our Crownhill-based powder coating line in Milton Keynes. You will set machines, inspect output and maintain quality across the coating process, working within a small team to support smooth production.

You will document results for data analysis, contribute to safety and efficiency improvements, and strive for continuous quality. This role offers a 4-day working week at our head office with benefits.

What you will doing:

You will be working within a small team of Production Operatives and supporting the Production Supervisor operating the Powder Coating Line, end to end operation.

As a Production Operative on the Paint line you will be responsible for powder coating products by setting machines, inspecting output from the process. This role requires a keen eye for detail, checking the products for any quality issues throughout the powder coating process.

A critical part of this role is the documentation analysing results to allow accurate data analysis. You will also play an integral part of the team by striving to improve quality, safety and efficient processes.

What we are looking for

You will work largely independently on your tasks on the powder coating line, but team work is key to a quality finished product

Setting up your own tasks on the line

Controlling and adjusting machine settings to ensure product quality and keep production with minimal downtime

You will be accountable for own tasks and you will have the confidence to challenge non-conformance and participate in problem solving

This role welcomes candidates that strive for perfection, quality is an important aspect of this role

You must have an eye for detail, accuracy is a very important aspect of what we do.

Previous experience as a Powder Coater is preferred, but we will accept applications from candidates that have not worked on a paint line before but have worked in a production environment

Familiar with factory management systems

What we offer

This role is based at our Head Office in Crownhill and is a 4 day working week

1 hour of unpaid breaks split across your shift

16 days holiday plus bank holidays rising by 1 day for each full year service up to 5 years

Pay: £29,719.40 per year
