Job summary

Nicholas Associates Group Limited is seeking Production Operatives in Bicester, Oxfordshire, for an immediate start on a temp-to-perm basis. Roles involve preparing, painting, and assembling profiles with strict quality checks, supporting production targets.

Shifts run Monday to Friday, 6am–2:30pm or 2:30pm–11pm. An entry-level position with full training provided and opportunities to grow within the company.

Production Operative

£12.71 per hour

Our client, a leading UK manufacturer within their sector, is looking for Production Operatives to join their growing team on a temp-to-perm basis due to continued business expansion.

Key duties:

• Preparing profiles ready for the painting and finishing process
• Painting profiles to the required standard while maintaining a high level of quality and attention to detail
• Assembling profiles and components in line with production requirements
• Checking finished items for accuracy, quality, and presentation before they move to the next stage
• Preparing completed products ready for packing, despatch, and delivery
• Keeping the work area clean, organised, and safe at all times
• Working as part of a team to meet daily production targets and deadlines

What we're looking for:

• A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn new skills
• Previous experience in a production, manufacturing, assembly, or warehouse environment would be beneficial, but full training can be provided
• Excellent attention to detail, with the ability to follow instructions and complete tasks accurately
• A team player who can also work well independently when required
• Someone who takes pride in their work and is committed to maintaining high standards of quality
• Reliable, punctual, self-motivated, and enthusiastic about developing within the role
• A flexible approach to work and the ability to support different areas of production when needed
