Job summary

Woodlands Home & Garden Group in Leeds is seeking a Production Operative to join a team manufacturing premium timber buildings, including sheds, summerhouses and log cabins. The role involves building, assembling and operating woodworking tools, with training provided and a clear path to progression.

You will work Monday to Friday with early finishes and receive regular pay reviews, an overtime option, a performance bonus and a skills-based progression plan.

• Experience in manufacturing, construction, assembly or woodworking welcomed but not essential.
• Full training is provided.

Responsibilities

• Build and assemble timber products using hand tools and production machinery.
• Operate equipment such as nail guns, saws and other woodworking tools.
• Follow production plans and quality standards to ensure first-time-right products.
• Work safely and efficiently to achieve daily production targets.
• Handle materials and components throughout the manufacturing process.
• Keep work area clean, organised and safe.
• Support the team to deliver outstanding products daily.

Hours: Monday to Friday | 6:00am – 2:30pm

Pay: Starting from £12.80 per hour + paid overtime + annual bonus + regular pay reviews linked to your skills and performance.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

As a Production Operative, you'll work alongside an experienced team manufacturing high-quality timber buildings, including sheds, summerhouses and log cabins.

Your role will include:

• Building and assembling timber products using hand tools and production machinery.
• Operating equipment such as nail guns, saws and other woodworking tools.
• Following production plans and quality standards to ensure every product leaves the factory right first time.
• Working safely and efficiently to achieve daily production targets.
• Handling materials and components throughout the manufacturing process.
