Job summary

Woodlands Home & Garden Group in Rodley, Leeds is hiring a production assistant to keep timber materials flowing and support milling and site operations. You’ll work with a friendly team, learn on the job, and benefit from our training and development opportunities.

The Role

You’ll play a key part in keeping production flowing, by ensuring departments have the right timber materials, assisting in timber milling, and supporting day-to-day site operations. If you're a team player with a good work ethic, we’ll give you all the tools you need to succeed. A Forklift Truck or Side Loader licence is a bonus – but not essential. We’re more interested in the right attitude and willingness to learn.

Key Responsibilities

• Supply timber materials across departments
• Assist with milling timber to ensure our production operatives have materials they need to produce our premium outdoor garden building range
• Follow daily production lists and meet targets
• Work both independently and as part of a team
• Keep your work area clean and safe
• Follow all Health & Safety procedures
• Carry out additional tasks to support wider site operations
