Job summary

Woodlands Home & Garden Group is hiring a Production Operative in Bradford to build premium timber products delivered across the UK. You will join an established team and contribute to manufacturing, assembly and quality checks on a daily basis.

We offer training for curious hands, regular reviews and a pathway to progression within a growing business that values skill development and teamwork.

Qualifications

• No experience required; training provided.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Experience in manufacturing, woodworking, engineering or machine operation is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manufacturing and assembling log cabin components.
• Operating machinery including saws, notching machines, nail guns and other woodworking equipment.
• Reading production drawings and following manufacturing plans.
• Fitting doors, windows, glazing and hardware.
• Packing and preparing finished products for dispatch.
• Carrying out quality checks to ensure high standards.
• Keeping work area clean, organized and safe.
• Working closely with a supportive team to develop skills.

Location: Thornbury Industrial Estate, Bradford, BD3 7AF

Choose the shift that works for you – we have 2 open vacancies:

• Early Shift – Monday to Friday | 6:00am – 2:30pm
• Day Shift – Monday to Thursday | 8:30am – 5:00pm, Friday | 7:30am – 4:00pm

Starting Pay - £12.80 per hour – With regular pay reviews, paid overtime, annual bonuses and genuine opportunities to increase your earnings as your skills grow.
