Job summary

Müller UK & Ireland is seeking Production Operatives to join the Chill Department at the Manchester Dairy. You will operate manufacturing machinery to produce quality products, collaborate in a fast-paced team, and help achieve production goals.

This is a full-time permanent role with a rotating 4-on/4-off schedule (days and nights). The role offers a starting salary of £30,462.21 plus overtime, with focus on safety, hygiene and continuous improvement.

• Operate our machinery and processes effectively, delivering the required product output.
• Quality control inspection, assuring customer expectation are maintained.
• Maintain hygiene standards within the workplace as per standard working conditions.
• System upkeep and related responsibilities.
• Cleaning activities.
• Materials replenishment as required.
• First line maintenance checks.
• Monitor production processes and identify any issues.
• Complete required production and safety documentation.
• Maintain high standards of housekeeping and hygiene.
• Support continuous improvement activities within the department.
• Follow all Health & Safety, Food Safety and Quality procedures.

We are currently looking to recruit for Production Operativesto join our Chill Department at our ManchesterDairy within our Müller Milk & Ingredients business.

The purpose of this role isto operate our manufacturing machinery in order to produce the best quality product. You will need to have a strong team working ethic, be results driven and proactive.

Contract: Full Time/Permanent

Salary: Starting from £30,462.21 plus overtime premiums

Shift Pattern: Rotating - 4on4off - 2 days & 2 nights 7am-7pm - 7pm - 7am

Location: Manchester Dairy

Responsibilities will include but not be limited to the following:

• Operate our machinery and processes effectively, delivering the required product output.
• Quality control inspection, assuring customer expectation are maintained.
• Maintain hygiene standards within the workplace as per standard working conditions.
