Job summary

Müller UK & Ireland is hiring a Production Operative at our Market Drayton site on a fixed-term 12-month contract. The role covers 4 on 4 off (days & nights) with a starting salary of £32,011.

You will operate manufacturing machinery, uphold health and safety standards, and contribute to meeting production targets while maintaining high hygiene and housekeeping standards. Training and development opportunities are available.

Qualifications

• Experience in a production or manufacturing environment (food manufacturing desirable).
• Good mechanical aptitude and problem solving.
• Strong teamwork and clear communication skills.
• Awareness of Health & Safety standards and food hygiene.

Responsibilities

• Operate manufacturing machinery in line with procedures.

Contract: Fixed Term Contract - 12 months

We are currently recruiting for a Production Operative to join our Market Drayton site as part of Müller's UK Manufacturing Operation on a fixed term contract basis.

Key Responsibilities

• Operating manufacturing machinery in line with procedures
• Supporting a strong Health & Safety culture
• Meeting production and waste targets
• Minimising machine downtime and supporting basic maintenance
• Maintaining high hygiene and housekeeping standards
• Identifying faults and escalating issues promptly
• Demonstrating flexibility across tasks and shifts

About You

• Experience within a production or manufacturing environment (food manufacturing desirable)
