Job summary

Pertemps is recruiting for Production Operatives on behalf of a leading international automotive parts manufacturer. Roles are full-time with an option to go perm, based at Barton-under-Needwood in Staffordshire.

Starting pay is £12.74 per hour with shifts in a rotating pattern and potential overtime. You will operate production machinery, assemble components, and conduct quality inspections while following 5S and health & safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in manufacturing or production is desirable.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Able to follow health and safety guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Operate production machinery and equipment safely and efficiently.
• Assemble and manufacture automotive components to specification.
• Carry out quality inspections throughout the production process.
• Follow standard operating procedures and health & safety guidelines.
• Maintain a clean, organised work area in line with 5S standards.
• Report any quality, equipment or safety issues to your UET Leader.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to meet production targets.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives across the business.
