Castle MacLellan is excited to be adding to our Production team in Kirkcudbright. We are recruiting for a number of temporary roles to support with our Christmas production.
The positions will end on 29th January 2027.
The role is based on a 46.25 hour working week, operating a 2-shift rotating pattern. The hourly rate is £12.72 per hour, plus a 14.5% shift allowance giving a total hourly rate of £14.56. This gives weekly earnings of £673.40!
You will ensure that products are produced and packed on the manufacturing line in accordance with requirements, ensuring quality objectives are met and high standards maintained.
As a Production Operative, some of the main duties you will be expected to carry out are (this list is not an exhaustive list):

Candidates will be used to following standard operating procedures and completing repetitive tasks efficiently and accurately. Able to work quickly and methodically, applications from people with the ability to monitor production process and carry out quality checks are welcomed.
This is a supportive, but busy environment. So, you will need to have excellent communication skills and be able to work well within a team, supporting your colleagues and management to achieve production results.
