Job summary

Manpower Group (UK) is seeking a Production Operative in Falkirk for a temporary ongoing, full-time role with daytime hours. The position offers Monday to Friday work at £12.71 per hour with overtime paid after 37.5 hours, plus full training in a modern production setting.

You will join a friendly team responsible for manufacturing, packing and preparing products for dispatch, with clear routines and on-site safety procedures. Training is provided to learn all processes.

Qualifications

• Experience in production, warehouse or manufacturing is helpful but not essential.
• Strong attention to detail and a focus on quality.
• Reliable with good team communication.

Responsibilities

• Operate production machinery safely and follow site procedures.
• Pack finished products to required standards.
• Pick and prepare customer orders for delivery.
• Conduct quality checks throughout production.
• Assist with line changeovers and basic machine setup.
• Label, weigh and record batch information.
• Maintain clean, organised work areas and housekeeping.
• Meet daily production targets.
• Load and unload materials onto production lines.
• Follow PPE, hygiene and safety requirements.
• Report issues to supervisors.

Manpower are delighted to be working with one of our key clients in Falkirk to recruit Temporary Production Operatives. This is an ongoing role offering stable daytime hours, a supportive team environment, and full training within a modern production setting.

Hours of Work

Monday - Thursday: 07:30-16:00 Friday: 07:30-13:00

About the Role

You will join a friendly, well organised production team responsible for manufacturing, packing and preparing products for dispatch. The role involves hands on work, clear routines, and working closely with colleagues to keep production running smoothly.

Key Responsibilities

• Operating production machinery safely and following all site procedures
• Packing finished products to required standards
• Picking and preparing customer orders for delivery
• Carrying out quality checks throughout the production process
• Supporting line changeovers and basic machine setup
• Labelling, weighing and recording batch information
• Maintaining clean, organised work areas and contributing to good housekeeping
• Working with colleagues to meet daily production targets
• Loading and unloading materials onto production lines
• Following all PPE, hygiene and safety requirements
• Reporting any issues or irregularities to supervisors
