Job description

Just Recruitment is working with a growing global organisation, based on the outskirts of Sudbury, and is looking for a skilled Production Operator to join their team.

You must be willing to learn new skills and work in a state-of-the-art, purpose-built facility, including undertaking comprehensive training to participate in tasting panels. Full training on the use of specialist equipment will be provided.

Key duties in this role:

1. Handle ingredients on an industrial scale
2. Operate lines as required by the business
3. Undertake packaging, storage, and distribution tasks
4. Maintain accurate records in line with standards and customer requirements
5. Maintain high standards of hygiene
6. Work closely with Operational, Logistics, and other teams to maximize production quality and efficiency
7. Uphold exceptional Health and Safety standards
8. Build a comprehensive knowledge of ingredients and processes to ensure production meets customer requirements

Skills required for this role:

1. The ability to follow written instructions and perform basic calculations
2. Previous experience working to robust quality standards and following procedures
3. Effective communication skills at all levels and confidence to escalate issues
4. Strong computer literacy (inputting data, machinery settings, report production)
5. Conscientiousness and strong attention to detail

Working hours:

3 rotating shifts: 14.00 - 22.00, 06.00 - 14.00, 22.00 - 06.00; Monday to Friday, rotating weekly.
