Job summary

Ctrg is hiring a Production Operative for a confectionery production site in Stockport. You will work on continuous lines including process, packing and wrapping while maintaining strict quality checks and GMP/HACCP standards. Training is provided and there is a rotation across shifts.

Shifts include day and night, with overtime paid over 40 hours. Flexible availability and a proactive, independent approach are valued. Employment is on a full-time basis with weekly pay and benefits through ctRg.

Responsibilities

We have a fantastic opportunity for you to work with one of the UK's leading and most recognized confectionery brands as a Production Operative in Stockport. The opportunity involves helping in the production of Cakes and Biscuits and inspecting and maintaining their quality to the highest standards.

Pay Rate as a full time Production Operative:

• Days/Nights: £12.71 p/h | Overtime: £19.06
• Weekly pay
• Overtime is Paid over 40 hours worked per week

Shifts available as a Production Operative:

• Day shift: 07:00 - 19:00
• Night shift: 19:00 - 07:00

The Production Operative Role:

• You will work on continuous production lines in Process, Picking & Packing, Wrapping and Quality Control
• You will be responsible for carrying out basic quality checks & maintaining high production standards
• You will develop and represent the understanding of good manufacturing practice, HACCP systems, and Health & Safety in the workplace
• A flexible approach to work and the ability to cope with a fast-paced working environment is essential Manual handling or lifting may be required for up to 15kg
• You will be required to move loaded pallets using a manual pump truck (training provided if never used before)
• Training provided and once fully trained you will be required to work alone and in small teams in a rotation throughout your shift.
